The hula, grass skirts, poi, Pearl Harbor, sun/sand/surf, and volcano gods. The 50th and southernmost state was admitted to the U.S. on August 21, 1959. It s made up of a chain of volcanic islands spread over 1,500 miles. The eight largest are considered the main islands with the capital, Honolulu, located on Oahu. Book 'em, Dano.
