Filled with innovative photography reminiscent of "Citizen Kane," as filmed by Russell Metty. In 1998, Walter Murch restored the film working from Welles's notes, re-editing the work to what Welles had originally envisioned before studio intervention; this version is 101 minutes and is unrated.
