The posh Beverly Hills Hotel is the setting for four unrelated Neil Simon skits, ranging from a battling husband and wife to feuding friends. Smith is notable as a neurotic English actress in town for the Oscar awards while Caine is effectively low-key in the role of her bisexual husband. Simonized dialogue is crisp and funny.
