After being released from prison, amiable slacker screw-up Ned (Rudd) seeks temporary shelter from his self-absorbed sisters: unfulfilled married Liz (Mortimer), careerist writer Miranda (Banks), and promiscuous lesbian Natalie (Deschanel). He innocently learns secrets about their respective lives, blurts them out at inopportune moments, and proceeds to drive them crazy while remaining happily unaware himself.
