Father Is a Bachelor
Sentimental family flick with some musical numbers (Holden's singing voice is dubbed). When his medicine show job comes to an abrupt end, drifter Johnny (Holden) resumes his aimless passion for fishing until five orphans decide to adopt him and make Johnny into a responsible man. They figure he needs a wife to accomplish this and choose small town beauty Prudence (Gray) as his intended.
