Synanon
Reformed alcoholic Chuck Dederich (O'Brien) opens Synanon House in Santa Barbara to help all kinds of addicts. Ex-con druggie Zankie (Cord) gets involved with Joaney (Stevens), who's supposed to be monitoring his progress. When Zankie can't follow the rules, the two leave rehab but run into trouble on the outside.
