Bitter Victory
Bitter psychological war drama. British Army officers Captain Leith (Burton) and Major Brand (Jurgens) are assigned to execute a commando raid on the Libyan stronghold of General Rommel and obtain some important papers. Brand learns that Leith was once involved with Brand's wife Jane (Roman) and his hatred grows when Leith also exposes his cowardice so the mission doesn't go smoothly.
