I Am Number Four

Nine alien teens come to Earth after their planet is destroyed, blending in as typical high school students. After enemies zap away aliens Number One through Three, John (Pettyfer)--AKA Number Four--turns to alien refugee Henri (Olyphant) for protection. A fling with Earth girl Sarah (Agron) gives him more reason to fight back against his extraterrestrial predators. Nothing more than a cash-in on the "Twilight" phenomenon, only with big, noisy battle sequences. Devoid of original thought while masking gaping plot holes by parading fresh flesh for its teen girl target audience. Adapted from the 2010 YA novel by Pittacus Lore (pseudonym of authors James Frey and Jobie Hughes).
