From Prada to Nada

Contemporary take on Jane Austen's "Sense and Sensibility." This time, two Latina sisters from Beverly Hills (Belle and Vega) are forced to move to East L.A. to live with their estranged Aunt Aurelia (Barraza) after the death of their father. Naturally, they suffer severe culture shock when they are deprived of their privileged lifestyles. Predictable and racially stereotypical, albeit touching at times, as the leads are actually likeable.
