In 1895, cynical gunrunner Cash Adams (Ladd) and his hated rival Clay Pike (Nolan) are supposed to supply guns to the Cuban revolutionaries in their fight against colonial Spain. They also turn into romantic rivals after meeting idealistic revolutionary Isabella (Podesta). However, there's more trouble when they discover the Cubans can't actually pay for the merchandise.
