Efficient, unpretentious B-movie type horror. A man leaps off a building in Philadelphia, leaving a suicide note mentioning the devil. Then five people enter an elevator in the same building that promptly gets stuck. They start to panic when they realize that every time the lights flicker, something bad happens. A religious security guard and a troubled cop try to help.
