Character drama based on writer/director Evered's own experiences. A nameless, naive young Arkansas sailor (Peck) is visiting New York during Fleet Week and is spending the evening with Patricia (Neuwirth) and Richard (Coyote) who have agreed to look after him. Only wealthy passive-aggressive Patricia and her dilettante filmmaker hubby have a now-loveless marriage and more-than-embarrassing issues that are revealed during a very uncomfortable dinner.
