Hell's Heroes

Off-told tale, based on the Peter B. Kyne novel "The Three Godfathers," finds three outlaws travelling through the desert who stumble on a dying woman who's just given birth. They agree to take her newborn to its father, who lives in the town they just robbed. It happens to be Christmas and it'll be a miracle if any one of them can make it back to fulfill their promise. Shot on location in the Mojave Desert and the Panamint Valley. Wyler, in his first all-sound film, keeps his story focused and stark.
