Bio-pic of Washington DC superlobbyist Jack Abramoff (Spacey) shows how Abramoff, with help from his unscrupulous partner Michael Scanlon (Pepper), became the wealthiest, best-connected lobbyist on Capitol Hill during W's presidency. The pair ostensibly bilked hundreds of millions from Native American casino operators and spent it on influence, votes, a brilliant wardrobe and lavish lifestyle. Accurate portrayal of the excesses of greed and ego that lead to their downfall and Spacey shines in the final scene as Abramoff melts down in a tirade while answering questions during a Congressional hearing investigating corruption.
