The Take
Violent Brit crime miniseries based on the novel by Martina Cole. In 1984, London gangster Freddie Jackson (Hardy) gets out of prison after four years of hard time and heads straight back to business. As a protege of incarcerated crime boss Ozzy (Cox), Freddie figures he's on his way to the top rung of the criminal ladder until his smarter cousin Jimmy (Evans) comes along. This doesn't sit well with Freddie, who has a lot of other family issues he can't deal with either.
