The Tenderfoot
Wealthy Texan Calvin Jones (Brown) heads to the Big Apple to invest in a Broadway show and nearly gets scammed by producer Joe Lehman (Cody) who knows his musical is a loser. Lew's secretary Ruth (Rogers) likes Calvin enough to warn him and Calvin likes Ruth enough to give her the lead in a revised production and the rest is standard showbiz comedy material (complete with gangsters).
