Their Own Desire
Debutante Lally's (Shearer) father Henry (Stone) is having an affair with Beth (Millard) so Lally persuades her devastated mother Harriet (Bennett) to go with her on a mountain resort vacation. Lally falls in love with persistent John Cheever (Montgomery) until she learns he's Beth's son but a near-tragedy has everyone taking a second look at their messy lives.
