This Modern Age

Moralistic melodrama starring a very blonde Crawford. After being raised by her divorced (now deceased) father, Valentine (Crawford) heads to Paris to reunite with her mother, Diane (Frederick), who's hiding the fact that she's the mistress of married Frenchman Andre (Conti). Val gets caught up in the fast life with wealthy drunk Tony (Owsley), which leads to her unexpectedly meeting swell Harvard grad Bob (Hamilton). But Bob's very conservative parents object.
