The third entry in the series has Torchy and Steve's wedding interrupted by a prank that turns deadly. Torchy's fellow newshounds hire stage actor Harvey Hammond to pretend to be a murder victim--only he does wind up dead. Hammond had a long-suffering wife, a mistress, and some disgruntled fellow thespians, so the list of suspects is varied.
