The Picasso Summer

A pretty travelogue but a dull and rather frustrating flick. Disenchanted architect George Smith (Finney) is disgusted by the smug San Francisco art scene so he and loyal wife Alice (Mimieux) take off for France so George can meet the one artist he does admire--Pablo Picasso, who proves elusive. Includes animated sequences of Picasso's work. Based on a story by Ray Bradbury, who co-wrote the screenplay under the pseudonym Douglas Spaulding.
