The Eddie Cantor Story

Standard Warner Bros. showbiz bio. Eddie Cantor (Brasselle) goes from his Lower East Side boyhood to singing waiter, Ziegfeld Follies star, radio pioneer, and humanitarian. The music includes such popular Cantor tunes as "Makin' Whoopie," "If You Knew Susie," "Ma, He's Making Eyes at Me," and "Ida, Sweet as Apple Cider." Cantor himself dubbed Brasselle on the soundtrack and has a cameo along with his wife Ida.
