Hang around the Internet long enough and you'll be told that Chuck Norris is a deity who can do no wrong, kill you with his eyelashes, is the second coming of Jesus, and has never made a bad film. This film runs contrary to all of that. Detective John Shepherd (Norris) is hired to find a kidnapped jewel cutter, despite the fact that the daughter of his last client died. Nothing looks good on a resume like "50 percent of my clients have survived the John Shepherd experience."
