Plays like "Get Carter" nearly 40 years later. Stoic, elderly Harry (Caine) is a retired soldier and recent widower who lives in a bleak and violence-ridden London housing estate. When local drug-dealing punks make the mistake of killing Harry's friend Leonard (Bradley) and police efforts are futile, Harry decides to put his Royal Marine experiences to effective use. Barber doesn't ignore the age-related frailties of Caine's Harry, but cunning over youthful stupidity goes a long way.
