Captain January
Six-year-old Baby Peggy stars as the orphan found during a storm, who's taken in by crusty lighthouse keeper Jeremiah Judkins (Bosworth). Eventually, her Aunt Isabelle (Rich) discovers her niece's whereabouts and takes her away but the tyke is unhappy and sneaks back to be with Judkins. This heart tugger was remade with moppet Shirley Temple in 1936.
