De Felitta helms a rather sweet farce about the Rizzos, a working-class family in the Bronx's City Island, whose numerous secrets all get revealed. Prison guard Vince (Garcia) recognizes new inmate Tony (Strait) as his illegitimate son. Deciding Tony needs a second chance, he has him paroled into his custody and takes him home to his family (without explaining the blood ties). Vince is already hiding the secret that he's taking acting classes in Manhattan, while his increasingly suspicious wife Joyce (Margulies) thinks he's having an affair. Their kids are hiding things too: daughter Vivian (Garcia-Lorido) has become a stripper to pay for college and teenaged son Vinnie (Miller) has a sexual kink for overweight women he finds on the Internet. There's lots of yelling and hugging too.
