The Donner Party
A very polite retelling of the infamous story of survival by cannibalism. In 1846, a wagon train bound for California makes the mistake of taking a supposed shortcut through the Donner Pass in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and gets trapped in an early snowstorm. Lost, frozen, and starving, the survivors need to make a decision on how far they will go to stay alive.
