Inception

When entering and extracting from the dreams of others becomes reality, the world becomes a very dangerous place. And thief Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) is an expert at doing just that, though he is plagued by visions of the beautiful Mal (Cotillard), which often interrupt the process though he tries to keep this secret from his team. The game changes though when Japanese businessman Saito (Watanabe) hires Cobb for a different kind of assignment. As the dreams layer upon--and crumble and tumble around--each other the question of what's real gets muddled. Writer/director Nolan conceives an elaborate sci fi thriller experience at its most brilliant (on an equally astounding $160 million budget), with stunning visuals that are most appreciated in IMAX format. Worthy of repeat viewing.
