The Kids Are All Right

Straight 15-year-old Nick (Hutcherson) has no problem with his lesbian moms Jules (Moore) and Nic (Bening) except he feels the need for a guy's outlook. So he persuades older sister Joni (Wasikowska) to search out their sperm-donating, bio dad--very laid-back organic chef Paul (Ruffalo). This throws uptight doc Nic and underachieving Jules into something of a panic when Paul starts hanging out a little too much for their comfort. Great performances by all and the story hits a lot of emotional highs about true family values and culture clashes even among L.A.'s upper-middle class.

Overrrated mess. Ruffalo looks like they had to wake him up during the movie, benning is as ugly as a dead groundhog, and Moore is annoying as hell.
