The Cove
Richard O'Barry went from 1960s dolphin trainer on the "Flipper" TV show to dolphin rescuer. O'Barry is especially incensed by the mass harpooning of dolphins by fishermen that occurs in the port town of Tajii, Japan, where dolphins are lured into the titular cove. O'Barry has been arrested for trying to free the captive dolphins and barred from entering the cove. All photography and recording is banned so activists and divers must slip past security to plant cameras for their disturbing night footage in this compelling documentary.
