Shrink Clare Poe (McClain) and her minister husband David (Pasdar) move their two children into an isolated home and quickly come to realize that their offspring are deeply disturbed. Clare uses a video camera in her work and tries to document all the awful things they do instead of getting them some serious help since she's completely ineffectual. Dad drinks and goofs around because he was abused as a child and can't cope. The parents act so stupidly that you root for their vicious little brats.
