Hard, Fast and Beautiful
The title sounds like film noir but it's actually a sports drama with Trevor as grasping mom Milly Farley who sees her teen tennis prodigy daughter Florence (Forrest) as her meal ticket to money and fame. Florence is successful (but unhappy) on the amateur circuit while Milly accepts payola and pushes her daughter on a European tour. It's when mom tries to breakup Florence's romance with Gordon (Clarke) that Florence finally rebels.
