A Dog Named Christmas
Sentimental Christmas mush gets you all the time in this 237th presentation from the Hallmark Hall of Fame. Kansas farmer George McCray (Greenwood) has always been adamant that his family will not get a dog (flashbacks explain why). However, when his 20-year-old mentally-challenged son Todd (Fisher) hears about an adopt-a-dog program for the holidays sponsored by the local animal shelter, Todd and mom Mary Ann (Edmond) manage to persuade George to give in. Yellow Lab Christmas is, of course, an exceptionally appealing choice and you won't be surprised by how things turn out. Adapted from the novel by Greg Kincaid.
