In this second installment, Flanery and Reedus return as twin brothers Connor and Murphy, forced out of exile when they are linked to a priest's murder. Even lower-grade Tarantino rip-off than the first, this one takes racist, homophobic jokes and impossible violence to a new level of absurdity. While writer/director Duffy's 10 years between films did improve his cinematography, it didn't hone his creativity--he overcompensates what is lacking by blasting metal and techno music. If not for the original's cult status, the Boston boys and their vigilante justice would have never been reunited.
