Derivative and dull sci-fi. Luke Gibson's (Gooding Jr.) family was killed in a car crash and he nearly died as well. Awakening in a hospital with amnesia, Luke learns a microchip has been implanted in his brain by a mysterious corporation headed by Virgil (Kilmer) that is monitoring him as a human guinea pig and that has the prerequisite sinister plans for their techno breakthrough.
