Roughly Speaking
Sentimental domestic drama based on Randall Pierson's autobiography. Independent-minded Louise (Russell) is taking business classes when she marries conventional Rodney Crane (Woods). They have four kids, but Rodney's a cheat and they get divorced so Louise must support her family any way she can. Then she meets amiable Harold Pierson (Carson) and they marry but their happy family life is frequently plagued by financial difficulties as the story continues through the Depression into World War II.
