California Straight Ahead!
Not a John Wayne western. The small trucking company run by Biff (Wayne) and Charlie (Treacy) is taking work away from rival Padula (Mason) with tragic consequences for Charlie. Biff wants revenge so he hires on with Corrigan (McWade) who is involved in a cross-country race with Padula and his new boss, railroad magnate Gifford (von Eltz), to prove which transport delivery method is faster.
