There are only two things missing from this star-studded romantic comedy from schmaltz-meister Marshall. Unfortunately, those things are romance and comedy. Linking the stories of lust, love, and revenge together is the flower store owned by Reed (Kutcher), who is proposing to his conflicted girlfriend Morley (Alba). Stars such as Julia Roberts, Shirley MacLaine, and Anne Hathaway are wasted in this movie that has so many plot lines and characters that nothing is able to emerge as anything other than two-dimensional. The celebrity cameos might have seemed like a good idea, but it's more like "The Love Boat" hit an iceberg and sank.
One of Julia Roberts worst new movies. LeoTs3181983 at 2010-11-11 22:40:09
This is one of Julia Roberts' worst new movies. I could only watch for 15 minutes, and she barely showed up in the first part of the movie. DON'T SEE IT!
