Gilbert's last starring role in a silent film is a not particularly good adventure story with continuity problems (apparently the original release was 80 minutes). Hugh Rand (Gilbert), the manager of a South African diamond mine, makes nice when Lord Stonehill (Torrence) and his daughter Diana (Nolan) visit. Only the two are imposters who rob the office of diamonds and take Hugh hostage. But the thieves can't survive in the desert without his expert help since water is much more precious than gems.
