Brooklyn's Finest
Fuqua appears to be redoing his 2001 film "Training Day" with this continuously violent story of corruption and impending doom that centers around three policemen. Burned-out veteran beat cop Eddie (Gere), about to retire, drinks too much and plans for his suicide; crooked narc Sal (Hawke) will do anything (including murder) for a big score to help his ill wife; and undercover cop Tango (Cheadle) is a little too comfortable in the thug life while needing to ensnare former major player Caz (Snipes) in order to stay on the NYPD promotional fast track.
