Cynthia

Trifle starring teen Elizabeth Taylor in the title role. Fifteen-year-old Cynthia has always been considered frail by her over-protective parents but the young woman is tired of sitting on the sidelines. She joins the high school choir (Taylor's singing voice is dubbed), starts a chaste romance with fellow student Ricky (Lydon) who gives Cynthia her first kiss, and goes to the prom while her parents struggle to get used to her newfound independence.
