Bardelys the Magnificent
Boastful, womanizing swashbuckler the Marquis de Bardelys (Gilbert) sets out to woo Roxalanne (Boardman) who has already rejected the advances of sinister Chatellerault (D'Arcy). Bardelys assumes the disguise of a rebel leader, gets into trouble, and winds up on the gallows thanks to his rival. A gap in the surviving print is bridged with stills and footage from the original trailer. Based on the novel by Rafael Sabatini.
