She
Hammer Films' lavish version of the H. Rider Haggard adventure novel. In 1918, Leo Vincey (Richardson) meets slave girl Ustane (Monteras) in Jerusalem and she insists on taking him to her mistress Ayesha (Andress). Ayesha offers Leo a fortune to meet her in the legendary city of Kuma because she's convinced he's the reincarnation of the man she loved (and murdered) centuries before. Followed by 1967's "The Vengeance of She" (with Richardson but minus Andress).
