Messy and self-conscious comedy, taking place over a single day, about harried (and annoying) Manhattan mom and children's blog writer Eliza Welch (Thurman with dark brown hair and nerd glasses). Nothing much happens as Eliza checks her to-do list and schleps through her domestic and childcare routines, including gossiping on the playground with other moms and preparing for her 6-year-old daughter's birthday party.
