The Houdini Serial
Quentin Locke (Houdini) is a Justice Department agent investigating a powerful crime cartel in this silent chapter serial. The cartel is protected by a "robot" armed with a deadly gas weapon and at the end of each chapter Locke is trapped in some perilous situation from which he is able to astonishingly escape. While the plot is rather tedious, Houdini's performance is an absolute delight.
