Get to Know Your Rabbit
Absurdist indie satire from De Palma. Fed-up businessman Donald Beeman (Smothers) shucks his career to enroll in Mr. Delasandro's (Welles) magic school. Donald finds minor success as a tap-dancing magician (complete with rabbit) while his ex-boss Mr. Trumbull (Astin) goes off the rails. Trumbull becomes Donald's manager, eventually exploiting him by opening a fantasy camp for execs needing a corporate break, using the beleaguered Donald as a role model.
