Princess Protection Program
Charming Disney cable flick about an imperiled young princess and the tomboyish teen who befriends her. Princess Rosalinda Marie Montoya Fiore (Lovato) must go into hiding when her island home of Costa Luna is threatened by a neighboring dictator's political coup. Unbeknownst to his daughter Carter (Gomez), Joe Mason (Verica) is an agent for the Princess Protection Program and spirits the newly-named Rosie to his home in Lake Monroe, Louisiana for safekeeping. She doesn't exactly fit in so Carter, despite some hesitation, helps Rosie navigate high school and typical teen life.
