Eddie (Conte) left the mob life behind, got married, and has a successful business, but his two brothers remained in the rackets. Unbeknownst to Eddie, they are targeted by mob boss Kubik (Gates) who uses Eddie's family loyalty to track them down. When Eddie discovers his brothers have been rubbed out, he decides to turn informer. Based on a novella by Georges Simenon.
