Rudo y Cursi
A genially ragged rags-to-riches comedy. Half-brothers Tato (Garcia Bernal) and Beto (Luna) are working on a banana plantation in rural Mexico, dreaming of a better life. Spotted during a pickup soccer game, sly sports agent Batuta (Francella) offers to take them to Mexico City, getting big league positions for Tato as a forward and Beto as a goalie--on rival teams. Of course this leads to sibling rivalry and a showdown at the big game. Title refers to the boys' nicknames: 'Rudo' means tough and 'Cursi' means corny. Spanish with subtitles.
