Damon gained 30 pounds and a goofy mustache in this seriously nutzoid tale that's based on a true story. In 1992, Mark Whitacre (Damon) turns whistleblower when he exposes multinational agri-giant Archer Daniels Midland's price-fixing schemes to the FBI. Whitacre wears a wire and collects documents to make their case, but the feds discover Whitacre's hands aren't exactly clean. Then the pressure from doing undercover work causes Whitacre to crack (although he doesn't seem very stable to begin). Adapted from the nonfiction book by Kurt Eichenwald.
