Performing in the online game "Slayers" is death row inmate Kable (the ever-so-macho Butler)--a controlled avatar of 17-year-old virtual game master Simon (Lerman)--who gets closer to winning his freedom with each violent and victorious battle he endures. Meanwhile, his desperate wife is an avatar forced to act out the deviant sexual desires in another game, all created by Ken Castle (Hall) who has grown filthy rich in the process. But a hacker resistance group threatens the whole operation. Lost amidst the not-unexpected hyper action of writers/directors Neveldine and Taylor is the message that technology isn't always such a good thing.
gamer 2009 movie review moviecanovie at 2009-09-12 10:13:00
I only got a few comments on the movie. I would say,the actors and actresses really did a tremendous job.
The only thing that ruined the movie was the screenplay and the storyline.
They didn't show enough details "what" the games really are and the conspiracy behind it.Simply not enough explanation about the movie ( I think because it was 1 and a half hour movie).
